Top Italian Wines from Calabria

Is a narrow Peninsula. It is located at the toe of the "boot" between the Tyrrhenian Sea to the west and Ionian Sea and Gulf of Taranto in the east. Its first name was Italia. The Greeks then came to the area bringing the art of wine making. They called the area Enotria. Among all the Italian wine regions, Calabria is probably one of the lesser known. The primary grapes here are Gaglioppo and Marsigliana for red and rose wines and greco for white wines.
